Editor’s Note: With just two week to go before the November 5, 2024 presidential election, it was time for Laura Washington to help provide insights into the Harris/Trump battle. Laura is well suited to the task as a Chicago Tribune contributing columnist, frequent WTTW Chicago panelist, and ABC 7-Chicago political analyst. Laura’s knowledgeable interviewees the evening of October 23rd were the politics reporter of Politico, Shia Kapos, and Craig Dellimore, political news editor for Newsradio WBBM.
