Wilhelm Vanselow and Bertha Dummer’s son Arthur Beno August Vanselow was born on Wednesday, March 14, 1888, in Springfield, Illinois. Arthur Beno August married Hilda Ernestina Rentschler in 1911 in Springfield. Hilda Ernestina Rentschler was born in Riverton on April 19, 1891. She was the daughter of Michael Rentschler and (unknown given name) Mathilda. Arthur Beno August died in Springfield on July 6, 1965, at the age of 77. Hilda Ernestina reached 78 years of age and died in Springfield on June 28, 1969.

Arthur Beno ad Hilda Ernestine Vanselow had four children:

Arthur Rentschler Vanselow was born in Springfield on May 7, 1912. He died in Springfield on June 8, 1969, at the age of 57.

Dorothy LaVerne Vanselow was born in Springfield on July 24, 1914. She died October 11, 2010 in Springfield.

Mildred Eileen Vanselow (Ostermeier), known as Eileen, was born in Springfield on August 22, 1916. She died in Springfield on June 22, 2006.

Harold Richard Vanselow Sr. was born in Springfield on December 7, 1918. He died in Springfield on December 17, 2004.

At the age of 21, Harold Richard Vanselow, Sr. married Bernice Kathryn Schuster on Saturday, September 21, 1940, in Springfield when she was 18 years old.

Bernice Kathryn Schuster was born in Springfield on Friday, February 17, 1922. She is the daughter of John Schuster and (unknown given name) Louise.

Harold Richard Vanselow, Jr. married Carol Shaddy in 1979 in Herbster, Wisconsin.  Carol Shaddy was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 17, 1950. She is the daughter of D.D.S Raymond William Shaddy and Marjorie Claire Rieth.

Harold Richard Vanselow, Jr. and Carol Shaddy have two daughters: Phoebe and Willa:

Phoebe Birch Shaddy Vanselow was born in Ashland, Wisconsin on December 20, 1977, and

Willa Iris Shaddy Vanselow was born in Cornucopia, Wisconsin on December 6, 1982.

Colleen Suzanne (Shine) Vanselow was born on Sunday, July 16, 1972. She was married and divorced from Russell Dantinne.

Colleen Vanselow since married William Burg. They have one son: Dylan.

Dylan Jacob Burg was born on October 19, 2013.
