Editor’s Note: I made a number of business trips to Europe in 1989. In February 1989, I stayed with Jean Gwinn and Myriam Riboud in their home in Versailles. Joined by their children Thomas, Josephine and Melissa, and Jean Gwinn’s sister Livie, I said goodnight to the children and got a tour of the house before the evening finished with a duck dinner prepared by Myriam.
