Editor’s Note: In August, 1994, the legacy pier in front of the Wahwa Cottages of the Bowe and Pargellis families was ready for action. Descending on the pier for swimming, boating and water skiing were Kathie and John Bowe, Sandy, Candida, Jamie and Melissa Bowe, Owen, Mel, Evan and Craig Thompson, Tony, Nancy, Kate and Gus Bowe, my wife Cathy and Andy and Pat Bowe and Alan Pargellis. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer day to get this crowd together.
