Editor’s Note: In October, 1986, shortly after Cathy and Bill Bowe moved back to the Chicago area from Nashville,  they threw a party for the extended family.  Present were their sons, Andy and Pat, John and Kathie Bowe, Stan Freborg, Frank, Susan, Austin, Jack and Bobby Gay Lynch, Walter and Patricia Heffron, Ted, Ann, Emily and Kevin Casey, Willard, Owen, Mel, Craig and Evan Thompson, and Bob and Sarah Romano.  The youngest of the children stole the show, with the adults delighting in them as well as with each other.
