Editor’s Note: On a lovely summer evening in July, 1999, Cathy, Andy, Pat and I drove with Jean Gwinn Riboud from his parents’ apartment to the Eiffel Tower to join Livie, Myriam, Thomas and Josephine Riboud for dinner and, afterwards, views of Paris from the Tower.  After taking the long elevator ride up to the observation deck, we had great views of Maxim’s restaurant below where we had just eaten, as well as the Pallais de Chaillot, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and Les Invalides.  Providing appropriate musical accompaniment for this visit is Conal Fowlkes playing Blue Moon on the piano from the movie Midnight in Paris.
