“De-Lovely: An Evening of Cole Porter” with Elizabeth Doyle and David Edelfelt
In another At The Cliff Dwellers performance, Elizabeth Doyle and David Edelfelt sing “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” from their Cole Porter tribute “De-Lovely” (with Andy Danckers on bass and Ed Koehler on percussion). After receiving standing ovations in and around Chicago, Paris, at the Cole Porter Festival in Peru, Indiana, and three Feinstein’s locations across the country (NYC, Carmel, San Francisco), Elizabeth Doyle and David Edelfelt brought their hit show “De-Lovely: An Evening of Cole Porter” to The Cliff Dwellers. With songs ranging from playful to poignant, these two celebrated singers/pianists took the audience on an hour-long journey through Cole Porter’s life, showcasing the duo’s versatility as they took turns at the piano, playing for each other and for themselves. The Cliff Dweller audience thoroughly enjoyed this unique cabaret tribute to Cole Porter, including this song from the show famously performed by Frank Sinatra, I’ve Got You Under My Skin.
