Thunderbirds at Work

Editor’s Note: Friday, August 18, 2023 might have been a hazy day for the Air Force Thunderbird pilots to take their F-16 Fighting Falcons out for a practice spin, but they seemed to care less as they swooped in and about the Loop skyline on their way to the early crowd awaiting them at North Avenue Beach.

The next day the haze had dissipated and Cliff Dweller Nike Whitcomb took the pictures below from her Hancock Building apartment.
