Patricia Lynch Heffron (1926-2006)<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Patricia Lynch Heffron de Sleepy Hollow depuis 45 ans Patricia Lynch Heffron, 80 ans, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e \u00e0 son domicile le mercredi 6 d\u00e9cembre 2006, peu apr\u00e8s qu’on lui ait diagnostiqu\u00e9 un cancer m\u00e9tastatique. Il n’y aura pas de visite et l’enterrement se fera dans l’intimit\u00e9. Un service comm\u00e9moratif sera organis\u00e9 \u00e0 une date ult\u00e9rieure. <\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Patricia est n\u00e9e le 13 juillet 1926 \u00e0 Chicago. \u00c9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 Elmhurst (Illinois), Patricia a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 avec ses parents \u00e0 Chicago, o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9pous\u00e9 son mari le 30 ao\u00fbt 1947. Ils ont eu une relation particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9troite et ont partag\u00e9 leur vie pendant 59 ans de mariage. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Patricia a \u00e9t\u00e9 un membre actif \u00e0 vie de la League of Women Voters, d’abord \u00e0 Park Forest (Illinois), puis en devenant membre fondateur de la Carpentersville-Dundee Area League lors de son organisation en 1970. En 1974, elle a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 une \u00e9tude de la Ligue sur l’utilisation des terres et la croissance dans le canton de Dundee, qui a fait l’objet d’une large diffusion. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Elle a \u00e9galement travaill\u00e9 pendant 23 ans au sein de la Sleepy Hollow Plan Commission, a particip\u00e9 au programme Volunteers in Probation of Kane County et a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre du Dundee Women’s Club. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Patricia a fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 l’universit\u00e9 du Wisconsin \u00e0 Madison, l’universit\u00e9 de Chicago et l’universit\u00e9 de l’Illinois du Nord, d’o\u00f9 elle est sortie en 1967 avec une licence en sciences de l’\u00e9ducation. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Elle a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 employ\u00e9e pendant 10 ans comme assistante p\u00e9dagogique dans le district scolaire 220, \u00e0 Barrington, dans l’Illinois. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Patricia \u00e9tait une lectrice passionn\u00e9e et une conversation anim\u00e9e, avec un int\u00e9r\u00eat marqu\u00e9 pour la politique et l’actualit\u00e9. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Elle aimait particuli\u00e8rement sa famille \u00e9largie et ses grandes r\u00e9unions, tout en \u00e9tant d\u00e9vou\u00e9e \u00e0 sa famille proche, et celle-ci \u00e0 elle. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Elle a surv\u00e9cu \u00e0 son mari, Walter S. Heffron ; \u00e0 son fils, Walter Jr. (Jane) ; filles, Ann Heffron, Ellen Heffron, Elizabeth Romano (Robert) ; petits-enfants, Jennifer Heffron (Troy Turner), Corrina Cain (Joshua), Walter III (Ashley), Sarah Romano, Emily Romano, Natalie Romano ; arri\u00e8re-petits-enfants, Walter Heffron IV, Martha Chloe Heffron, Jayden Heffron, Annabel Cain ; fr\u00e8re John G. Lynch (Lorraine McSherry) ; et de nombreux neveux et ni\u00e8ces. <\/span><\/h4>\n

Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e dans la mort par ses parents, Patrick C. et Mary Catherine Casey Lynch, et par son fr\u00e8re, Francis J. (feu Susan A.) Lynch. <\/span><\/h4>\n
